The Role

The Financial Planning and Analysis Analyst plays a pivotal role in the financial planning and strategic management of the business. They provide data-driven insights to inform stakeholders' decisions, interpret complex financial models, assess economic and business trends, and draw actionable conclusions from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain comprehensive financial insights and analytical reports for the commercial division.
  2. Collaborate with the commercial team to prepare and refine budgets and forecasts.
  3. Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data for the Commercial Division.
  4. Drive continuous improvement in reporting and data analysis.
  5. Lead financial projects with key stakeholders to enhance processes and efficiency.
  6. Contribute to pricing strategies and projects to maximize value generation.
  7. Manage financial plans, forecasts, and budgets for the commercial perimeter.
  8. Support the commercial team in monitoring expenditures to ensure budget utilization.
  9. Ensure timely and accurate monthly accounting closings.
  10. Develop and analyze financial reports, providing strategic insights to the commercial team.
  11. Provide detailed analysis and commentaries on top-line performance.
  12. Inform and advise the financial department of any changes in assumptions, budget deviations, financial risks, etc.
  13. Hold a recognized accounting qualification, such as QCIMA or ACCA.
  14. Demonstrate knowledge in accounting and budget controlling.
  15. The ability to speak French or motivation to learn French would be an advantage.
  16. Excellent analytical and numerical skills using tools like EPM, Power BI, or Excel.
  17. Knowledge of SAP accounting software would be beneficial.
  18. A full valid driving license and passport are essential.
