The service division is dedicated to the upkeep and management of wind energy facilities across the UK and Ireland. Our department fosters a collaborative and open environment, where effective communication and teamwork are essential for our success. You will have the chance to engage in a dynamic industry alongside a team of highly skilled professionals. Your role will involve adhering to the highest safety and environmental protocols while ensuring that service objectives are achieved. You will oversee safety measures and documentation at service locations and conduct audits of all equipment, including PAT testing, PPE, and gas appliances.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory, including goods receipt, stock transfers, and ensuring the availability of parts and tools while maintaining accurate SAP records.
- Oversee tools management, including usage logs, inspections, replacements, and calibrations, serving as the primary contact for all tool-related inquiries.
- Create Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and liaise with the supply chain for feedback and resolutions.
- Order consumables and maintain stock levels of essential items, ensuring the return of any unused or damaged materials.
- Prepare parts and kits for scheduled maintenance, including the printing of necessary documentation and work plans.
- Coordinate transportation and vehicle maintenance in accordance with established business processes.
- Utilize all available lifting equipment at the service location for the movement of stock and loading/unloading tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in Reach/Counterbalance Forklift operation (preferred).
- Proficient in IT applications, including email, Word, and Excel (mandatory).
- Previous experience with SAP is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
- Familiarity with Dangerous Goods regulations (preferred).
- Health & Safety certifications, such as IOSH, are desirable.
