Key Responsibilities: - Ensure adherence to corporate and legislative environmental requirements. - Identify emerging environmental trends and equip the site to address them effectively. - Provide assurance of legal compliance in environmental matters. - Develop, communicate, and train staff on environmental policies. - Foster continuous improvement aligned with business needs. - Collaborate with fellow Environmental Specialists to share best practices and conduct internal benchmarks. - Assist engineering and technical teams in addressing environmental impacts. - Manage all necessary permits across sites. - Lead internal audits focusing on significant site assets. Who You Are: We are eager to connect with candidates who have: - Proven experience in an environmental role within an industrial context. - Familiarity with the FMCG sector. - Knowledge of ISO standards (preferred). - Experience in permit management (essential). - Auditing experience (preferred). - NEBOSH environmental certificate/IEMA (preferred). - Strong data analysis and presentation skills. - Excellent communication abilities to challenge and influence constructively. - Capacity to respond swiftly under pressure. - A passion for mentoring and guiding others towards improved outcomes.
