We are seeking a skilled and experienced captain to join our team at City Cruises UK.
About the RoleAs a captain with City Cruises UK, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe operation of our vessels and providing an exceptional experience for our passengers.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the vessel meets Company and legal safety standards to guarantee passenger safety and enjoyment.
- Navigate the vessel safely in accordance with the Collision Regulations and local by-laws.
- Be responsible for and facilitate onboard safety training for crew members.
- Be responsible for crew training and emergency drills.
- Ensure the vessel has an adequate supply of fresh water on board prior to commencing service.
- Provide passengers with an entertaining and informative commentary during the cruise.
- Hold a current ML5 medical certificate or equivalent.
We are looking for a candidate with a full understanding of Health & Safety aboard and ashore and the ability to implement a Safety Management System.
The successful candidate will be offered a competitive hourly rate of £46.
