Walker Hamill is seeking an experienced Interim Fund Controller to join our client, a leading global private equity firm, on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will report to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and be responsible for overseeing the fund administration, working closely with the Investment Team and 3rd party administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with fund administrators to ensure timely delivery of day-to-day fund activities, including production of quarterly investor reports and accounts, partner statements, capital calls, and distribution notices.
  • Work closely with the Investment Team to ensure seamless fund administration and reporting.
  • Oversee the fund's financial activities, including cash flow management, financial statement preparation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd party administrators, ensuring effective communication and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in corporate accounting and fund accounting in a private equity business.
  • Strong understanding of fund administration, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines.
