Contract Fund Accountant

G MASS is seeking a highly skilled Contract Fund Accountant to join our Investment Management team in central London. This is a 6-month contract role with the potential for extension and/or permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Analysis: Review and analyze fund profit and loss accounts across asset classes to assist in reporting performance to Asset Managers.
- NAV Calculation: Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) of funds on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including checking accrued income and expenses.
- Reconciliation: Liaise with the fund administrator/s to reconcile final fund NAVs.
- Foreign Exchange: Review foreign exchange exposures and report to the Asset Managers, highlighting any currency hedging requirements.
- Reconciliation and Investigation: Review reconciliations between Custodians, Prime brokers, and the investment engine's internal records, coordinating investigation and/or correction of breaking items where required.
- Experience: Middle office accounting experience, part or fully qualified.
- Real Estate Experience: Real Estate experience is essential.
- NAV Calculation Experience: Experience in NAV calculation is required.
Paying in the region of £55k. 6 month contract. Hybrid working with 3 days in the office per week.
