Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team as a Senior Architect. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of design information, managing project timelines, and ensuring that all projects meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Technical Development:
    • Lead a talented design team, managing the delivery of design information that aligns with project goals, timelines, and budget.
    • Dive into detailed design work, from drafting to CAD, ensuring everything meets our high standards.
    • Collaborate with internal and external consultants to ensure smooth integration and coordination of design elements.
  • Project Management:
    • Prepare and maintain project drawings, ensuring they meet QA and safety standards.
    • Integrate technical information and statutory requirements into designs and production drawings.
    • Prepare all the necessary documentation for planning, tender, and construction.
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, attending key meetings to ensure projects stay on track.
    • Keep the Project Associate updated on progress, flagging any potential issues and offering solutions.
    • Manage resources effectively, ensuring everything is in line with the agreed fee and schedule, while addressing any gaps.
    • Chair project meetings, making sure everyone is clear on their roles, responsibilities, and the project's scope.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Foster a collaborative team environment, promoting clear communication and shared goals.
    • Mentor and support your team, helping them meet their training and development needs.
    • Ensure all team members understand their roles and how they fit into the bigger picture.

  • A solid understanding of building technologies, regulations, and planning applications.
  • Familiarity with technical standards, regulatory frameworks, and health and safety requirements.
  • On-site experience is a bonus.
