Position Overview

As a Senior Lead, you will oversee a dedicated team of Asset Surveying experts and data analysts responsible for conducting condition and compliance assessments of the housing portfolio. Your leadership will ensure that the housing assets align with regulatory standards and uphold the integrity of the asset base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the delivery of building surveying and asset management services for Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Assets, including client engagement, project feasibility, design, and specification across various construction projects.
  • Supervise the execution of stock condition and validation surveys to enable the formulation of precise work schedules and the development of updated business strategies.
  • Oversee the stock condition survey process, focusing on the collection and evaluation of building characteristics, assessing remaining lifespan, and verifying the accuracy of existing condition data.
  • Act as the technical authority on building surveying matters, encompassing building pathology, stock condition assessments, permissions, and land ownership.
  • Mitigate risks associated with building integrity or structural issues by diagnosing and addressing emerging concerns.
  • Lead asset appraisal initiatives to ensure value for money, exploring potential disposal options.
  • Conduct energy assessments, ensuring meticulous data documentation and the availability of energy performance certificates.
Qualifications

Applicants should possess an HNC in Building Surveying or a comparable qualification, along with demonstrable evidence of ongoing professional development.
