POSITION OVERVIEW
If you are a seasoned Structural Engineer with a solid foundation in the civil construction sector, this role presents a remarkable opportunity to contribute to a progressive organization where your expertise will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
The selected candidate will:
  • Provide essential engineering support and insights for projects in both bidding and execution phases.
  • Contribute to the engineering and design aspects of contract tenders and modifications for both new and ongoing projects, collaborating closely with Contract Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and supplier/sub-contractor partners.
  • Develop and refine commercial estimates and cost plans.
  • Engage in setting out and surveying activities.
  • Coordinate with specialized designers and consultants.
  • Assist in the formulation of project estimates.
  • Communicate effectively with specialized subcontractors, suppliers, and designers.
  • Participate in contract and internal governance reviews.
  • Support the development of service delivery programs.

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable role within the civil construction industry.
  • A demonstrated commitment to health and safety standards in construction.
  • While a degree in civil engineering is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement; a minimum of a HNC/D or equivalent NVQ in civil engineering is essential.
