About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forklift Truck Driver to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our janitorial and waste removal team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift trucks and other cleaning equipment to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Handle and dispose of waste generated on site, adhering to approved waste streams and ensuring timely transportation.
  • Assist the waste removal team in maintaining production levels and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Valid private counterbalance licence.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
