About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Forklift Truck Driver to join our team at ABM UK. As a key member of our janitorial and waste removal team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate forklift trucks and other industrial equipment to move materials and supplies within the warehouse.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient handling of waste and recyclables, adhering to all relevant health and safety protocols.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and organized workspace, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, promoting a positive and supportive team culture.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Valid private counterbalance forklift license.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety requirements and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Reliable and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
