Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily operation of campus facilities, including opening and locking premises, security, and fire prevention.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of facilities.
  • Support the Estates and Facilities department in maintaining a safe and secure environment for staff, students, and visitors.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of University policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and the public.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and be flexible in your approach to work.
  • Good awareness of IT systems and ability to learn new software.
  • Willingness to become a trained first aid member of staff.
