KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE HEALTH, SAFETY, AND SUSTAINABILITY OFFICER:

The Health, Safety, and Sustainability Officer will play a crucial role in overseeing and enhancing our safety protocols and sustainability initiatives:

  • Manage the execution of health and safety guidelines across various departments.
  • Regularly assess operations to guarantee adherence to health and safety laws, standards, and best practices.
  • Update and refine health and safety protocols as necessary to align with regulatory changes or operational needs.
  • Conduct thorough audits to evaluate departmental compliance with established procedures.
  • Coordinate all food hygiene programs and standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to HACCP.
  • Supervise the water management system, ensuring accurate monitoring of water quality and preventive measures against legionella.
  • Implement and manage the organization's sustainability strategies.
  • Identify compliance gaps and collaborate with department leaders to formulate corrective action plans.
  • Provide support and guidance to departments in addressing compliance challenges effectively.
  • Establish practices to minimize waste, enhance recycling efforts, and reduce the environmental footprint of hotel operations.
  • Ensure daily temperature checks for all refrigeration units and food service areas are accurately recorded.
  • Monitor the operational status of all facilities to ensure optimal performance.
