Overview:
The Grassroots Division is seeking a meticulous Project Manager to oversee all administrative and organizational aspects of significant community engagement initiatives and provide broader support to the Grassroots Football Division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics for national consultations, including managing the booking process, securing venues, and identifying appropriate accommodations.
  • Offer administrative assistance for key meetings and events, including attendee coordination, room reservations, and note-taking.
  • Assist with ad-hoc research on critical topics through effective analysis and synthesis of textual, quantitative, and visual data.
  • Deliver high-quality administrative support as needed to facilitate the execution of FA programs and activities.
  • Address ad-hoc project tasks as assigned by internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and manage allocated items within departmental inboxes and company software requests alongside your own responsibilities.
  • Process orders and manage divisional invoices using the company Purchase Order system.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and maintain databases as required.
  • Support the coordination of team meetings, documenting and ensuring the completion of action items as necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders, including departmental colleagues, various disciplines, County FAs, and relevant external partners.
  • Execute additional tasks as needed to adapt to changing priorities within the FA Group.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures to maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and well-being.
  • Complete a DBS check as part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for all involved in football, with the level of the check determined by the specific job role and in accordance with legislation and government guidance.

Qualifications:
Essential:

  • Experience in office administration.
  • Proven ability to organize, coordinate, and participate in events.
  • Experience in project and program support, demonstrating ownership of small projects from inception to completion.
Desirable:
  • Experience in minute-taking.
  • Ability to assess, evaluate, and enhance existing services and procedures.
  • Experience in supporting committees.
