Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Year 4 Teacher to join our team at a vibrant primary school in Daventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the Year 4 curriculum, catering to the diverse needs and abilities of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all students
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes a love for learning, creativity, and collaboration
- Assess student progress regularly through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely feedback to support their academic growth
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents/guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student development and well-being
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies that promote a safe, respectful, and conducive learning environment for all students
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Previous experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably within Year 4
- Sound knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum and proficiency in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/guardians
- A passion for fostering a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusivity within the school community
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to contribute to the school's continued success
