About the Role

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is seeking a skilled professional to join its Housing Partnership team as a Housing Delivery Manager. This exciting opportunity will involve developing, supporting, and leading the delivery of housing projects, including new and affordable housing, and decarbonization of existing buildings.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in housing development, with experience in bidding for public funding and managing program/project teams. They will also possess excellent financial management skills and be able to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including funding commissioners and local authorities.

About the Person

We are looking for an experienced housing professional who can provide technical expertise, inspire project teams, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of development markets, with a particular focus on the residential market in the local area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement housing projects, including new and affordable housing, and decarbonization of existing buildings
  • Manage program/project teams, motivating staff and working across organizations to deliver quality outcomes
  • Provide technical expertise and support to project teams
  • Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including funding commissioners and local authorities
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial plans
Requirements
  • Subject-relevant degree or equivalent experience in housing development
  • Experience in bidding for public funding and managing program/project teams
  • Excellent financial management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
