Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Brake Press Operator to join our team at Ethan Employment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating brake presses to produce high-quality metal parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate assigned brake presses to produce metal parts according to specifications
  • Transfer finished products to the appropriate area
  • Perform quality checks during machine operation to ensure production meets specifications
  • Set up machines according to specifications and ensure availability of materials
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on assigned machines
  • Troubleshoot basic problems associated with assigned equipment
Requirements
  • WHMIS certification
  • Experience working on brake presses or punch presses
  • Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometer, etc.)
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
  • Ability to set up tooling, gauges, and guards
  • Ability to maintain production process in an efficient and effective state
Preferred Qualifications
  • Team player with a positive attitude and approachable demeanor
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
