We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic casual coaches to lead sessions engaging children in the Regional Performance Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the teaching/coaching of various client groups with varying abilities.
  • Deliver a progressive and developmental programme, maintaining participant records, checking equipment, and ensuring a safe environment.

Requirements:

  • Hold an Athletics Level 2 (UKA Athletics Coach qualification).
  • Experience in Athletics coaching, working with children from diverse backgrounds, and planning structured activity sessions.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, adaptability, leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and enthuse others.

Working Arrangements:

As a casual coach, you will be contacted when work is available. There is no obligation for Leisure & Culture Dundee to offer work, nor are you obliged to accept it. The rate of pay is £11.96 per hour.

Important Information:

This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Leisure and Culture Dundee.
