About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented MDT Administrator to join our team at NHS Professionals. As a key member of our cancer treatment team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the cancer treatment team, including maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
  • Data Management: Input and maintain a robust data collection system to provide clinical and cancer waiting times information, and produce reports as required by team members.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the tumour site lead, members of the MDT, clinicians, specialty managers, and the cancer management team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Target Achievement: Contribute to the Trust's achievement of local and national cancer targets by providing high-quality administrative support.
  • Sensitive Information Handling: Handle sensitive and often emotional information with discretion and professionalism, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection policies.

Requirements
  • Administrative Experience: Proven clerical experience, with good use of PC skills and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members, clinicians, and other stakeholders.
  • Medical Terminology: Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to understand complex medical concepts.
