About the Role:

GAP Group LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Semi Skilled Fitter to join our Plant and Tool division. As a Semi Skilled Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the success of our depot by servicing and maintaining a variety of small plant and tools within our fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining small plant machinery, including diggers, dumpers, and hand tools.
  • Servicing and maintaining a range of electrical tools, including saws, grinders, and drills.
  • Testing and running electrical tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Performing PAT testing on electrical equipment.
  • Working with a team to ensure the smooth operation of the depot.

Requirements:

  • A relevant mechanical or electrical qualification or time served.
  • Significant experience in servicing and maintenance of small plant machinery.
  • Experience in servicing and maintenance of petrol and diesel contractor tools.
  • A valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
