The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out essential planned mechanical maintenance and completing necessary repairs to keep factories in good working order. They will also be involved in on-going process improvement throughout the factories, developing new ideas and better solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance, Inspections, Service and Repairs on hydraulic machinery, bearings, shafts, and conveyor-based systems.
Develop and implement new ideas and solutions to improve factory efficiency and productivity.
Collaborate with the team to achieve factory goals and objectives.
Requirements:
The successful candidate must hold a recognized Mechanical Engineering qualification, such as an Advanced Apprenticeship or Level 3 NVQ with BTEC Level 3 or above. They must also have demonstrable knowledge and expertise in PPM and reactive maintenance on Industrial Plant and Equipment.
