Join Parker Smith Inclusion as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to gain practical experience in a supportive and inclusive environment. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to provide individualized support to students with SEN, including Autism and ADHD.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide support to students with SEN in a variety of settings, including classrooms and therapy sessions* Assist with personal care, including feeding and toileting, as needed* Support students with hydro-therapy swimming and other activities* Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans* Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance skills and knowledge* Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture by promoting social skills and emotional well-being* Work closely with the senior leadership team to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained

**Requirements**

* Educated to degree level* Passion for working with children and young people with SEN* Previous experience supporting children with SEN, including Autism and ADHD* Proactive and positive individual with a commitment to meeting children's learning needs* Ability to build rapport with children and work effectively as part of a team* Ability to assist with personal care and other tasks as needed* Fully committed to working full-time during term time
