Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the design, deployment, and management of enterprise-level infrastructure solutions, ensuring optimal availability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with the pre-sales team to provide technical insights, shaping proposals and solutions that align with client needs.
  • Manage end-to-end infrastructure projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and ongoing support.
  • Offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.
  • Work alongside cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure solutions within broader IT frameworks.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize existing systems to guarantee peak performance and reliability.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance business value.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical challenges, providing expert troubleshooting support.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Demonstrated experience as an Infrastructure Engineer with a solid track record in project delivery.
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with Fortinet technologies.
  • Expertise in Azure cloud services, particularly in Cloud IaaS.
  • Strong proficiency in server and storage technologies, including virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • In-depth understanding of backup technologies and best practices.
  • Experience in pre-sales activities, including client engagement, requirements gathering, and solution design.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset for implementing practical solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable Qualifications:
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Fortinet NSE, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional).
  • Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with network infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, and switches.
