SEN Support Assistant | Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring SEN Support Assistant to join our team at a reputable Secondary School in Tower Hamlets. As a SEN Support Assistant, you will work closely with qualified SEND professionals, Specialist Teachers, and Educational Psychologists to provide support to students with Special Educational Needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support small groups of students and on a 1:1 basis
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and supporting students' learning
  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the students, guaranteeing a safe environment for all children

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology related degree from a top 20 UK university
  • Previous experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable

What We Offer:

  • Full-time term time only SEN Support Assistant role – Commencing in September until the end of the academic year
  • Role Paying £480-£550 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
