About the Role
The Thorn Baker Group is seeking a skilled Groundwork Operative to join our team. As a Groundwork Operative, you will be responsible for assisting in the groundwork operations on our construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the operation of 360 drivers, groundworkers, and dumper drivers as required.
- Hold a current CPCS card for NOPRS or NPORS.
- Be willing to get out of the machine and assist in groundwork operations as requested by the site manager.
- Assist in the operation of groundworkers and banksman, including holding a CSCS card and a Banksmans card.
- Be able to perform all aspects of groundwork operations.
- Assist in the operation of dumper drivers, including holding a CPCS card or NPORS.
- Be experienced in trench digging and drainage work, including levelling off and backfilling.
About You:
- You must have a valid CSCS card.
- You must have a CPCS card for 360 drivers.
- You must have a Banksmans card.
- Confined space or any other relevant tickets would be an advantage.
- You must have two commercial relevant references.
- You must have a can-do attitude with a strong work ethic.
