Job Role
As a Children's Support Worker, you will work closely with children in care, supporting them in all aspects of their lives. Your day-to-day role will involve:
- Supporting children in educational pursuits, hobbies, and activities

Responsibilities
As a Children's Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting, safeguarding, and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people
- Assisting with daily routines, including working in the community and/or educational settings
- Organising and facilitating social activities
- Transportation
- Working alongside a multi-disciplinary team to implement safe practice
- Offering high levels of supervision and support
- Working in line with Ofsted and CQC regulations
- Managing complex behaviours and crisis intervention
- Contributing to the young person's care plans and risk assessments, their review and implementation
Requirements
We are looking for candidates with:
- Previous experience working within a child and/or young adult setting
- Age 21 or over to meet industry regulations
- Knowledge in one of the following areas: EBD, SEMH, CSE, or SEN/SEND
- An enhanced DBS, which you can apply for upon registration (Cost of which £45.40. This will be refunded after a set period of work)
- A Full UK Driving License (desirable)
