Position: Autism Support Worker

Location: Falmouth, Cornwall

Company: Teaching Personnel is actively seeking committed individuals to assist children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC) within our partner secondary educational institutions in Falmouth, Cornwall. We welcome applicants with relevant experience, whether gained in educational environments or other supportive roles.

Role Overview:

- Type: Full-time, commencing in September 2024
- Compensation: Starting at £83.85 per day, with potential for increases based on experience
- Duration: Employment for the entire academic year

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized support to students with ASC in mainstream classroom settings and during small group activities.
- Work collaboratively with designated students to address their educational and developmental requirements.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with students with ASC or related conditions.
- Demonstrated patience, empathy, and a constructive mindset.
- Capability to function effectively in both one-on-one and group contexts.

All stated pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with the possibility of a permanent position in the future.
