Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time 35 hours per week

Location: Home-based (travel required).

We're seeking an inspiring area support manager to join Cancer Research UK's trading team. As an ambassador for the organization, you'll support the Area Manager and area team to maximize income through people, resources, and stock.

In a dynamic working environment, you'll discover new challenges every day, whether it's a new network, a new merchandising initiative, or a talent you never knew you had.

  1. Contribute to the achievement of key performance indicators across the area.
  2. Support the commercial running of your area and make informed decisions based on data.
  3. Support the Area Manager and area teams in areas such as recruitment, development, retention, performance management, equality, and diversity, and fundraising.
  4. Assist with the implementation of national volunteer recruitment campaigns and support other divisional and national projects.
  5. Commercial awareness with great business acumen.
  6. The ability to build networks and influence.
  7. Experience of leading and performance managing a team of people.

Travel costs will be reimbursed in line with Cancer Research UK's travel and expenses policy.
