Our Youth Services Coordinators occupy a crucial and diverse position within Barnardo's. Furthermore, they serve as influential allies to other organizations, ensuring the ongoing development of Barnardo's standing as a champion for Children, Young People, and Families.

Eligibility Requirements
Candidates must, by the application deadline:
Hold a professional qualification in Social Work recognized by the relevant regulatory body, Have completed the Assessed Year in Employment and be registered with the appropriate regulatory body.Candidates must demonstrate, at a minimum, in their application:
Experience in child protection and safeguarding matters Proven experience working with children and young people, and in guiding others towards best practices in the provision of Youth Services A solid track record of collaborating effectively with partner organizations, commissioners, and other stakeholders, enhancing the organization's external reputation A valid driving license and access to a vehicle with business class insurance or alternatively demonstrate how mobility requirements can be met. Proven ability to understand and manage financial resources and budgets. Proven capability to establish team and individual goals, and to mentor towards high performance and ongoing improvementPlease ensure that you clearly outline in your application how you meet the required criteria listed in the accompanying Additional Information document.

The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Child and Adult Barred Access check.

While the full salary range is advertised, our approach to starting salaries is to appoint between the minimum to mid-point of the pay band – this ensures that pay progression steps are available to reward our colleagues annually based on their contributions to excellence and alignment with our values and behaviors.
