We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Surveyor to join our team at Brackenberry Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing repairs and minor improvement works on allocated patches, ensuring a high-quality service at the best possible cost.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee appointed contractors carrying out repairs and minor improvement works, taking ownership and effective liaison to ensure a high-quality service.
  • Undertake technical and inspection duties related to repairs and minor improvements to occupied and void homes, external and communal areas, and playgrounds.
  • Assess properties for hazards such as damp, mould, excess cold, sanitation, drainage, etc.
  • Raise works orders and variation orders, obtain, challenge costs, and approve quotations for specialized/non-standard works.
  • Work supervision, contractor liaison, and progress monitoring to ensure target dates are achieved and quality standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a Repairs and Maintenance environment.
  • Experience of providing technical support and advice to a range of stakeholders.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to produce technical reports.
What We Offer:
  • A competitive rate of pay: £33.08 per hour.
  • The opportunity to work on a 5-month contract with a high likelihood of extension.
  • A chance to work closely with a Local Authority in Tower Hamlets.
