About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Product Engineer to join our team at Hargreaves Lansdown. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) toolkits, ensuring their optimal performance and value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support project work and automation with our IAM and PAM toolkits, including development work and integration with colleague-facing systems.
  • Proactively obtain feedback and metrics on IAM products' performance to drive improvements.
  • Support Major Incident events, feeding into the PIR process and helping to produce the RCA.
  • Manage tickets logged in ServiceNow and Jira, including Incidents, Changes, Requests, and Problems, effectively and to SLA.
  • Manage the Product backlog, prioritizing services based on business value.
  • Help deliver the product vision and strategy, collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring that technical and non-technical users maximize product functionalities.
  • Create and maintain accurate system documentation, including change requests, technical and user guides, hardware and software asset and configuration requests.
  • Help deliver our IAM and PAM improvement programs.
About You
  • Significant experience in an IAM or closely equivalent role.
  • Experience of working in a commercial organization and liaising with all levels of stakeholders. Additional experience of working in a regulated and listed environment will be supportive to your success in this role.
  • Proven experience developing and maintaining IAM and PAM toolkits, such as CyberArk Privilege Cloud and OneIdentity Manager.
  • Qualified to a relevant industry standard.
  • Practical work-based experience across recertification, access analysis, toxic combinations, IAM policy, IAM technology, culture, incident response, and risk management.
  • Be able to evaluate the adequacy of IAM controls, suggest, and drive improvement.
  • An effective and engaging communicator, able to present complex information in simple context, adapting your style to suit your audience.
  • ITIL certified or have a good awareness of ITIL.
Interview Process

A two-stage interview process with the first stage using competency questions and the second stage a practical task.

Working Schedule

We are looking for a full-time IAM Product Engineer to join our team, based in our Bristol head office. This role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. We offer a hybrid flexible working pattern to enable you the option of working from home and coming into the office.
