We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Science & Higher Education division on a permanent, full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities- Optimise the profitability and cash flow of projects by managing subcontractor selection, package procurement, and order placing.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reports, including interim valuations and final accounts.
- Oversee the second stage tendering process and lead change management, including loss and expense matters.
- Contribute to the implementation of good Health & Safety practices and comply with Business Processes and Procedures.
- Relevant experience in the construction sector, with knowledge of the complexities involved.
- Confidence and proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven record of dealing with projects of varying value, type, and complexity.
- Familiarity with standard forms of measurement and managing re-measurement.
- Expert understanding of the relationship between cost and value.
- Ability to review and challenge construction and pre-construction programmes.
- Excellent risk mitigation strategies.
- Attention to detail when working under pressure.
- Ability to plan, maintain, control, and report on the financial administration of projects.
- Strong negotiation skills.
