About the Role

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care to our service users in their own homes. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized care and support to individuals with complex care needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and mobility.
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each service user.
  • Assist with household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in complex care.

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience, preferably in a complex care setting.
  • Medication administration training and experience.
  • Personal care and moving and handling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
