Job Title: Site Manager

Faringdon Community College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our school site, including maintenance, security, and health and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the caretaking team and ensure the smooth operation of the school site
  • Carry out compliance checks, maintenance, security, and general management of the school premises
  • Liaise with contractors and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the school site is well-maintained and safe
  • Ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed and that the school site is compliant with relevant regulations
Requirements:
  • High standards and expectations, with a commitment to delivering excellent results
  • Good DIY/maintenance skills, with the ability to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Good level of IT, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Understanding of health and safety and security, with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, students, and external partners
