An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Security Support Specialist to join our team, working within our Warehouse and Distribution facilities, providing support to our valued clients.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to deliver exceptional guarding services and outstanding customer support to both clients and service users.

As a Security Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Accurately logging all goods vehicles (deliveries or collections) entering or exiting the site on the designated PC System.
  • Maintaining effective communication with site contacts, colleagues, CCTV operators, and the National Security Manager regarding any incidents.
  • Assisting in the reduction of accidents and health & safety violations while minimizing risks to employees and visitors.
  • Monitoring, operating, and communicating using various equipment (phones, intercoms, radios, email).
  • Supporting site evacuations by adhering to the procedures outlined in the Fire Evacuation Plan.
  • Upholding strict Data Protection (GDPR) standards, following established policies and procedures for monitoring, recording, extracting, and sharing information.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the security field.
  • SIA Licence (SG/DS) is mandatory.
  • Possession of a UK Driving Licence and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including those at short notice.
  • Proficiency in computer and PC operations.
