We are seeking a skilled Parts Inventory Manager to join our Nissan Dealers team. As a key member of our aftersales team, you will be responsible for managing the supply of parts to our workshop, sourcing parts on time, and pre-picking ready for jobs. You will also be responsible for additional sales of parts to retail and trade customers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a knowledgeable and efficient service to customers and colleagues, ensuring accurate identification of their needs and successful management of their expectations.
- Qualify all trade customers and ensure their requirements are identified and managed effectively.
- Monitor stock levels and manage the re-order process for essential stock items, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
- Undertake inventory checks to ensure all parts ordered are delivered and are the correct parts needed, managing any discrepancies with suppliers.
- Record and book out all parts as per workshop process, ensuring accurate administration and timely returns.
- Liaise with the Nissan Parts team on technical issues when necessary, ensuring effective communication and resolution.
- Proven experience in managing stock in a busy and demanding environment, with a strong understanding of stock control procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and team members.
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage extensive stock inventory and prioritize tasks effectively.
- IT literacy, with knowledge of Dealer Management Systems and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Able to work under pressure and perform to high standards, with a proactive and flexible approach to achieving personal and team targets.
