Asbestos Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to join our fully licensed Asbestos Section at City Building. The successful candidate will have a strong background in asbestos removal and management, with a proven track record of leading teams and ensuring safe working practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a skilled team of asbestos operatives, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and implement plans of work, risk assessments, and method statements to ensure compliance with current regulations and guidelines.
  • Conduct site assessments to identify hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Ensure all team members adhere to Health & Safety procedures and instructions, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project objectives, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in asbestos removal and management, with a strong understanding of current regulations and guidelines.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and tasks.
  • Full current driving license and access to a car, with the ability to travel to various sites.
