About the Role

Vantage Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronics Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for designing and developing cutting-edge electronic circuit boards, integrating electronics into drone systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and test electronic circuit boards, including block diagrams, component selection, schematic design, PCB layout, and production file generation.
  • Debugging and Testing: Debug prototype circuit boards using a range of electronics test equipment.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Integrate electronics into drone systems, working collaboratively with other members of the team across disciplines.
  • Standards and Compliance: Define requirements and research/implementation of applicable standards and required testing/certification.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Degree in Electronics Engineering or related qualification (or several years industry experience).
  • Technical Skills: Experience writing technical specifications and designing boards to a set of specifications, strong appreciation for EMC considerations in electronics development, and ability to debug EMC related issues.
  • Programming Skills: Embedded programming skills (C++).
