About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children and Family Worker to join our team at St Thomas Newcastle. As a key member of our staff team, you will play a vital role in delivering our vision for children and families in the City of Newcastle.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a vision for reaching and discipling children and families
  • Encourage children to engage with the Church and support innovative mission and discipleship amongst children
  • Be a champion for children and a key part of the church staff team to help develop and deliver the wider church objectives
Requirements

We are looking for a Christian who is fully committed to the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit, with experience of working with children and families in a local church context. You will have a passion for further developing and delivering a vision for children's discipleship and mission within the church.
