About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Abuse Case Worker to join our team at Stonewater. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality support services to members of the LGBTQ+ community who are accessing our Brighton Refuge.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of customers through their journey, ensuring a strengths-based approach that enables them to articulate their needs and goals.
- Deliver informed and person-centred support to members of the LGBTQ+ community, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a seamless and effective service delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and partners to ensure a comprehensive support network.
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications and experience in a related field, such as social work, counseling, or community development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong understanding of the LGBTQ+ community's needs and challenges, with a commitment to delivering inclusive and culturally sensitive support services.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease.
