About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Business Transformation Team at Via East Midlands Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the development, maintenance, and reporting of performance data across the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain automated reports using company performance data to inform business decisions.
  • Analyse complex data sets to identify trends and insights, and produce comprehensive technical reports to stakeholders.
  • Ensure the quality of data produced, resolving issues as they arise to maintain stakeholder confidence in the accuracy of information.
  • Develop and maintain effective data management procedures at Via, focusing on efficient ways of working, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Share knowledge and guidance on effective data management and business analytics software with colleagues, promoting good practice and improvement.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring these are met at a consistently high level.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of utilising business analytics systems and software, ensuring compliance with legal and organisational requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognise and interpret performance trends and propose effective change to drive improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex data sets to a wide range of audiences.
  • Excellent IT skills with demonstrable experience of working across a range of systems and software.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills, including the ability to write technical reports.
