The Dakota Hotel, a prominent establishment in the hospitality sector, is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the position of Chef de Partie within our culinary team.

COMPENSATION AND EMPLOYMENT TERMS

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of £14.40, with weekly payments leading to a guaranteed gross annual salary of £29,950, inclusive of expected tronc payments.

This role entails a permanent contract with a minimum of X hours per week, with typical shifts scheduled from 10:00 to 16:00 or 17:30 to 23:00, covering any four days of the week.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exhibit confidence in managing a high-paced service environment and efficiently oversee at least two distinct sections of the kitchen.
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to the standards established by the Head Chef, encompassing all offerings such as a la carte, room service, breakfast, bar food, and event catering.
  • Conduct preparation tasks within assigned kitchen sections while maintaining exceptional knife skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to multitask and thrive during peak service periods.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of the kitchen and uphold a pristine working atmosphere.
  • Commit to collaborative teamwork, ensuring effective communication with all kitchen and front-of-house personnel.
  • Possess a solid understanding of and adherence to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations.
  • Show eagerness to learn and assist in various kitchen areas.
