Overview
As part of our CRM and loyalty division, we prioritize 'Understanding our customers better than anyone else' to foster business expansion, including sales growth, profitability, and market share, while also nurturing long-term customer loyalty. Your role will involve promoting registrations and consistent engagement through captivating, targeted marketing initiatives for the Sainsbury's and Argos brands, along with the broader Sainsbury's group.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehend the strategic direction and facilitate the execution of initiatives that enhance customer loyalty and contribute to overall business performance.
- Identify, test, and implement innovative activity concepts and mechanisms to enhance and refine the loyalty program.
- Collaborate with relevant agencies and internal teams to develop, implement, and execute plans across all channels, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
- Engage closely with the Analytics team to ensure precise forecasting, customer targeting, data selection, and analysis.
- Adopt a customer-focused approach in all communications, aligning content with significant events in the customer journey.
- Present campaign strategies and performance insights to stakeholders in relevant forums, fostering support and understanding of business objectives.
- Assist the loyalty manager with the development of our loyalty strategy and any ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Proficient knowledge of CRM and loyalty marketing campaigns.
- Experience in managing the complete lifecycle of direct marketing campaigns from inception to execution.
- Strong creative and communication abilities, with a solid understanding of proposition development, content strategy, creative execution, channel integration, and brand guidelines.
- Confident in interpreting and analyzing data analytics, enabling effective management of insights and recommendations based on outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of handling multiple timelines and processes while reviewing fees and performance to ensure operational excellence in campaign delivery.
- Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to oversee several campaigns concurrently.
- Effective influencing and relationship-building skills.
- Adept at conveying results and insights in a manner that is easily comprehensible to all stakeholders.
- Achievement of agreed customer and commercial metrics.
- Accurate budget forecasting with expenses maintained within limits.
- Fulfillment of campaign KPIs: sales, ROI, open rates, redemption rates, and points issuance.
- Demonstration of impeccable budget management, ensuring responsible spending and issuance of loyalty points.
- Timely and budget-compliant campaign delivery, with rigorous quality assurance.
- Strong collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, particularly focusing on effective cooperation with the analytics team.
- Implementation of budgetary allocations.
- Decisions regarding content and creative development.
- Targeting and offer mechanics.
- Access to existing and new CRM and loyalty agencies and their aligned teams.
- Collaboration with cross-functional Sainsbury's teams, including Marketing, Trading, IT, Legal, Finance, and Procurement.
