**Make a Lasting Impact on SEND Provision in East Sussex Schools**
As a CLASS Adviser, you will play a vital role in enhancing the educational experience of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in East Sussex schools. You will work closely with educational settings to provide high-quality advice and training to support children and young people with SEND across East Sussex.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide expert advice and guidance to schools on SEND provision and strategies
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance teachers' skills and knowledge in supporting children with SEND
- Collaborate with educational settings to identify and address barriers to learning for children with SEND
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to SEND provision
**Requirements:**
- Passion for championing change for children with SEND
- Extensive experience in Speech, Language and Communication needs (SLCN), including Autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and/or Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD)
- Proven track record of working with children and young people with SEND
- Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
