Logistics Planner – Day Shifts

Work Location:
Luton

Working Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, starting at 6pm

Compensation:
£33,000

Role Summary:

Ensure adherence to effective and efficient operational standards, aligning with transport regulations, company policies, and Health & Safety guidelines.
Optimize the utilization of vehicles and drivers to enhance operational efficiency.
Proactively seek loads and return loads for drivers.
Oversee vehicle management, driver hours, and WTD regulations, while coordinating and supervising drivers.
Handle customer inquiries and job bookings via phone.
Maintain comprehensive records of driver and fuel data.
Plan and schedule operations efficiently.
Engage in Transport Modelling.

Desired Qualifications:
Experience as a Transport Coordinator (minimum of 2 years required)
Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws
Skills in Transportation Planning and Management
Background in Operations Planning
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Capacity to perform well under pressure
Knowledge of logistics platforms and Haulage Exchange
