Igloo Thermo Logistics is a national temperature-controlled distribution company operating across three depots in the UK. Nationally we run over 125 vehicles ranging from sprinters to artics. Across the three depots, we employ over 150 employees and complete over 5,000 deliveries per week.

We are looking for a route planner to join our Luton depot at our 20,000 sqft Head Office site.

**Job details**:
Role: Route planner - Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 10:00-18:30 - Monday to Friday

Location: Luton - LU2 9NY - Depot based.

**Salary**: £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience

**Job summary**:

- Plan national transportation routes for the fleets running out of all three Igloo depots (Luton, Taunton and Leeds)

**Major duties & responsibilities**:

- Daily planning of transportation routes to ensure efficient use of fleet and manpower
- Coordinate with sales, customer service and transport teams to ensure customers requirements are met
- Communicating with drivers to ensure working and driving time directives are adhered to
- Assisting transport team to ensure fleet is kept compliant with the Operators licence undertakings
- Assisting transport and HR teams to ensure on road colleagues are fully compliant, trained and equipped
- Work with other depots’ local knowledge to improve efficiency

**Qualifications**:

- Route planning experience
- Experience of Paragon route planning software
- Ability to respond and adapt to changing circumstances
- Knowledge of working and driving time regulations
- IT literate

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
