About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our team at Ambassador Theatre Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing our state-of-the-art ticketing platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable and efficient software solutions using modern technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative solutions to challenging web development problems.
  • Participate in system design and specifications, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and support.
  • Provide analysis of problems and recommend solutions.
Requirements
  • At least 2-3+ years' experience working in software development.
  • Excellent JavaScript and TypeScript knowledge.
  • Experience with Node.js.
  • Good knowledge of AWS Services, particularly their serverless and event-based offerings.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tooling and processes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, such as Terraform.
  • Familiarity with version control solutions, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
Desirable Skills
  • Previous experience working in a microservices-based architecture.
  • Experience working in an Agile team environment.
  • Experience with designing and developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and tools.
