Commercial Gas Engineer - Dundee

Salary: up to £39,000

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking full ownership of building maintenance, working proactively and leading a team to ensure the smooth operation of FM services.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and complete the associated paperwork and reports.
  2. Reactive and emergency breakdown tasks and complete the relevant documentation.
  3. Participate in a call-out rota to provide clients with full out-of-hours cover.
  4. Proactively reduce energy consumption on site.
  5. Accurately and efficiently complete all work-related documentation.
  6. Carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
  7. Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  8. Undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required.
Person Specification:
  1. Commercial Gas ACS qualifications to include COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CDGA1, CORT1, and TPCP1A. TPCP1 and BMP1 would be an advantage.
  2. Experience of working within a mobile service delivery contract.
  3. An understanding of Service Level Agreements (SLA's), service targets and objectives, and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  4. Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
  5. Strong customer care focus.
  6. Good communication skills.
  7. Proactive approach.
  8. Able to anticipate and/or diagnose and repair faults.
  9. Capable of completing essential paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
  10. Full UK Drivers licence.
  11. Enhanced DBS Check required.
