Job Title: Head of Supply Chain

Reports to: Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Supply Chain to join our team at Endeavour Resourcing Solutions Limited. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and guidance to the Procurement and Stores team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Design and execute effective inventory control policies to optimize stock levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
  • Implement inventory forecasting models to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline production schedules and minimize lead times.

Requirements

  • Professional Supply Chain Management Qualification
  • Degree educated or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Strategic Supply Chain/Procurement Leadership.
  • Experience required of working with an ERP system, specifically MRP.

Personal Attributes

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and team-management skills, with strong communication skills. They will be proactive, analytical, result-oriented, and willing to take on new challenges. They will also have the ability to build good working relationships with people at all levels internally and externally, learn quickly, and be a natural problem solver.

Work Environment

This role is predominately office-based to support on-site manufacturing, with a mix of office and remote working.
