About the Role
The Financial Reporting Advisory Senior will be responsible for preparing statutory financial statements for clients, including consolidated financial statements, in accordance with both UK GAAP and IFRS. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Practice, in an Accounts or Audit capacity, and will be able to work effectively with other teams on the delivery of statutory financial statements and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements for clients, including consolidated financial statements, in accordance with both UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Work with other teams on the delivery of statutory financial statements and advisory work.
- Play a key role in accounting advisory projects on the application and interpretation of accounting standards.
- Manage your schedule to ensure deadlines and budgets are met and work is completed to a high standard.
- Delegate work to Assistants and offer support as required.
- Coach and develop Assistants, offering feedback as necessary.
- Liaise with clients and build effective relationships.
Requirements
- An inquisitive and curious mind.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- A desire to achieve high levels of client service.
- An interest in Financial Reporting and developments within financial reporting.
- A motivation to develop your own technical knowledge.
- An Accountancy qualification, ICAS/ACCA or equivalent. Finalists will be considered.
